Have you ever received an image in which you could not determine the content? If you have, you know that trying to figure out what a picture is of can be a pretty time consuming task. Search after search in a typical search engine will take you at least a few minutes before you figure out what you are looking at. Well Macroglossa has attempted to solve this problem. You simply select an image file form your computer, run it through their reverse image search, and receive a list results. All results contain both the content of the image as well as other images of the same or similar content.

We wish to inform you that MyGlossa is online.
But what MyGlossa is?
Let us explain in few words:
Are you interested in Macroglossa services and would like to use our interfaces for a customized service based on one or more categories of search that are currently not available on our web search engine?
MyGlossa was developed to fill this gap.
MyGlossa allows developers and users to test our visual recognition technology, giving the opportunity to load a set of small target images and make the comparison tests independently in order to assess and obtain any support or cooperation of the Macroglossa Staff to realize your idea and go in production!
To use Myglossa just register for free to our APi program. Upon registration, will be assigned a Personal Identification Number ( MyGlossa SID ) that can be used to access your test page. The code will be visible in the Api User portal.
To access MyGlossa simply click on the button at the top right of the Macroglossa home page.
For all existing API portal subscribers the ” MyGlossa SID ” has already been generated and visible in the Api User Portal.
Keep in mind that for certain types of images you may need the assistance of our staff to do tuning on the matching process. So do not hesitate to contact us for any kind of support.

Macroglossa Visual Search Engine extend its functionality by adding a new search category: Colors
Thanks to this new category, you can identify the predominant color palette in an image, with its color code in hexadecimal and decimal reference.
This feature is particularly addressed to graphic design professionals and anyone who needs to identify a specific color
e.g. imagine you want to know the color palette of a specific subject because you need to buy the same color of dye.
Soon this feature is also added to API program in order to extend it to developers and webmasters
